My Story

I’m a mother of two amazing grown sons and reside in Orange County, California. I have a background in hotel restaurant management with over 20 years of experience in planning special events. As well as coordinating weddings and managing the sales and marketing for multiple wedding venues.

In 2007, I was offered an opportunity to help open a new wedding venue on a 20-acre ranch in the mountains of San Diego, California. This was a fantastic opportunity where I was the venue wedding coordinator. We launched our first wedding for 176 guests in the summer of 2008. Being a wedding coordinator has been a special milestone and an honor to share with many couples I have worked with.

Guiding couples on one of the happiest days of their lives, walking down the aisle to marry the partner of their dreams, is what this blog is about. Join me for helpful guidance, tips, and steps for planning a wedding day to cherish and remember forever. Designing a beautiful wedding right for “you,” even on a budget, is possible.

My mother told me many years ago that I should write my wedding coordinating experiences down so I would not forget. Honestly, some of the situations that occurred over the span of 11 years are embedded in my mind FOREVER! However, I took my mom’s advice and began journaling. This gave birth to Story Time Wedding in the blog posts, based on true events.
